Dr. Gabriel Chiu is a highly specialized reconstructive and plastic surgeon. He excels in the delicate artistry of aesthetic plastic surgery. Dr. Chiu has his own private clinic, Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Inc. in the heart of Beverly Hills. Gabriel earned his degree in Immunology and Microbiology from the University of California Berkeley. He finished medical school in Southern California at the Western University of Health Sciences. Once his internship in the Henry Ford Health System was complete at Bi-County Community Hospital, Dr. Chiu started his general surgery residency in Detroit, Michigan at the St. John's Health System. He transferred during his training to Cleveland, Ohio to the Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital where he became the Chief Resident in General Surgery.
Dr. Chiu embarked on a intense fellowship once his residency was complete. He explored reconstructive and plastic surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Training covered a wide variety of modalities including: burn, hand, pediatric, craniofacial, cosmetic, trauma, reconstructive and wound care.
As Chief Fellow of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Chiu oversaw the training of general surgery residents, plastic surgery fellows and oromaxillary facial residents. He supervised medical students at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY, St. Mary's Medical Center in Pennsylvania as wells as students in the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Dr. Chiu returned to California once his training in reconstructive and plastic surgery finished. Currently, he practices in Beverly Hills and Encino, California.
